Step 1
Download the app
Charging your electric vehicle with Zunder is very easy. Download the Zunder APP, available for Android and iOS, and create your user account.
Step 2
Add your payment method
To add your payment method click on “Profile>Payment methods”. At the top right of the screen you will find the option to “+Add” your payment method. Fill in your card details and click “Accept”. Your bank will ask you for confirmation. This process is free of charge and has no associated fees.
Step 3
Start your charging session
Click on the circular centre button in the Zunder APP, scan the QR code or manually enter the ID number of the connector to be used.
Step 4
End your charging session
Access your active charging session by clicking on the circular centre button in the Zunder APP. Click on “End charging session” to end your session. Disconnect your vehicle and enjoy your journey. See you again soon!
How do I charge with Zunder?
Zunder registered users

Scan the QR code or manually enter the identification number of the connector you are going to use.
Map in the APP
Click on the charging station you are at and choose the connector that you are going to use. (We recommend enabling GPS location while using the Zunder APP for a better experience).
The first time you use this functionality, the Zunder APP will need to register your vehicle so that the next time you plug in your EV it will automatically start charging.

Do you know if your vehicle is compatible? Add it in the Zunder APP to find out if you can use it.
Zunder RFID key fob
Without needing to use your phone, you can start your charging session by bringing your Zunder RFID Key Fob close to the reader of the charger you are going to use.
If the charger you are using has a touch screen, first select the connector to be used.
Do you not yet have a Zunder RFID Key Fob? You can purchase it via the Zunder APP by going to "Menu>Shop". It costs €19.95 and includes €10 credit, redeemable at any Zunder charging station. You will receive your RFID Key Fob at the postal address listed in your user profile along with instructions on how to activate it.
Apple Watch
When you are at a Zunder charging station, access the Zunder APP from the watch face menu of your Apple Watch and start your charging session.
Your Apple Watch will tell you when you can plug in your vehicle and start charging. During the charging process you will be able to access all metrics and end your session by clicking on "Stop".
If you use Car Play or Android Auto you can also start your charging session from the Zunder extension for these platforms.
You can see the Zunder charging stations closest to your location listed on your electric vehicle’s display screen.
Click on the charging station where you are located. Select the power rating you want and select the connector you are going to use. Your vehicle will tell you when you can plug in and start your charging session.
Interoperability
Use the Zunder APP at the charging points of other operators available in Europe.
Click on the "filter" icon available on the map in the Zunder APP. Activate the option "Type of chargers>Others" and then click on "Filter". You can now see on the map all the charging points of other operators where you can charge using the Zunder APP.

Roaming: charging outside the Zunder network
With roaming you charge at a point that isn't Zunder's using your usual Zunder method: the app or your RFID card. You pay two things: what Zunder charges for the service (eMSP; in Portugal, CEME) and what the operator that owns the charger charges (CPO). In Portugal, some regulated taxes are also added.
