Zunder has published a map of 30 locations in France where it will soon install an ultra-fast charging station.

Carte des Stations Zunder en France

Zunder has released a map highlighting 30 locations across France where new ultrafast charging stations will soon be installed. With these additions, the total number of Zunder charging points in France will reach 131 by 2025. These new stations mark a major step forward in expanding Zunder’s network density across the country, enabling an increasing number of EV users to benefit from Zunder’s premium charging experience.

They will also allow the operator to diversify its range of products and services for French users, with many new ultrafast charging stations being installed off the motorway network — a shift from Zunder’s initial development strategy in France, which had focused primarily on motorways. Zunder has already covered five major motorway routes (the A88 operated by Alicorne, the A63 by Atlandes, and the A28, A71, and A85 operated by VINCI Autoroutes) with a total of 8 stations.

What Zunder Charging Stations in France Will Offer

A Premium Charging Experience for Peace of Mind While Traveling by EV

Zunder is proud to offer all electric vehicle users a charging service that is accessible, fast, and easy to use. All Zunder stations are equipped with the most powerful chargers available (up to 400 kW). Whenever possible, stations will feature a photovoltaic canopy to protect users from the sun and adverse weather conditions. Some stations will also be accessible to — or even reserved for — heavy-duty vehicles.

In addition, while Zunder already provides a full ecosystem of tools to facilitate charging and payment (mobile app, mobility card, and key fob identifier), it also enables users to pay directly by bank card, benefit from automatic charging start systems (Autocharge and Plug&Charge), and use the apps and mobility cards of numerous third-party operators through roaming agreements.

131 Ultrafast Charging Points by 2025

Around two-thirds of the 30 announced stations, totaling 131 charging points, will go into service in 2025, providing French users with a stronger network, particularly for long-distance journeys. The remaining locations will receive their charging stations in early 2026. Nearly all French regions (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Brittany, Centre-Val de Loire, Grand Est, Hauts-de-France, Île-de-France, Normandy, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie, and Pays de la Loire) will have their own Zunder station.

Almost all French regions (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Brittany, Centre-Val de Loire, Grand Est, Hauts-de-France, Île-de-France, Normandy, and others) will be included in this expansion.

We are proud to announce this latest expansion of the Zunder network in France, a key country in the development of electric mobility in Europe. Our goal is to deploy our ultra-fast charging network throughout France, to offer all French users a seamless, high-performance, and accessible charging experience.” – Daniel Pérez, CEO and co-founder of Zunder
